Istovremeno uz promjenu na\u010dina prehrana ova dijeta uvodi i vi\u0161e kretanja i vje\u017ebanja budu\u0107i da se pretpostavlja da su i na\u0161i preci se morali vi\u0161e kretati.<\/p>\n<p>U prehrani prema paleo dijeti osnova su meso, riba, jaja, vo\u0107e, povr\u0107e, dok se izbacuju \u017eitarice, te rafinirane masno\u0107e i prera\u0111ene namirnice. U nekoj osnovi jede se ono \u0161to su jeli na\u0161i preci, a izbacuje sve ono \u0161to njima nije bilo dostupno i \u0161to oni nisu jeli.<\/p>\n<p>Istra\u017eivanje &#8220;Beneficial effects of a Paleolithic diet on cardiovascular risk factors in type 2 diabetes: a randomized cross-over pilot study&#8221; iz 2009. uklju\u010divalo je 13 sudionika koji su imali dijabetes tipa 2. Sudionici istra\u017eivanja su pratili 3 mjeseca program paleo dijete.
