Idealno bi bilo imati plan kuhanja za par dana unaprijed i po njemu kupiti namirnice. Ina\u010de \u0107e se desiti da vam neke namirnice ostanu neiskori\u0161tene, a da vam trebaju dodatne kako biste napravili obrok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kupujte koli\u010dine namirnica<\/strong> koje su vam potrebne, a odre\u0111ene zaliha namirnica ako i kada radite, napravite od namirnica koje imaju du\u017ei rok trajanja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kada donesete ku\u0107i namirnice ispravno ih spremite.<\/strong> To mo\u017ee pomo\u0107i duljem trajanju namirnica, te i na taj na\u010din \u0107ete smanjiti otpad. Svjetski dan hrane, obi\u010dno se obilje\u017eava oko 16.10. a u Hrvatskoj se \u010desto obilje\u017eava pod nazivom Dani kruha. Obi\u010dno se poku\u0161ava na taj dan podignuti osvije\u0161tenost o gladi u svijetu, te se educiraju ljudi o hrani, ljudskim potrebama vezanima uz hranu, ali i ekologiji i planeti. Dani kruha slave se ve\u0107 \u010detrdesetak godina, te se svake godine osvje\u0161\u0107uje i pri\u010da o mo\u0107i hrane, o gladi u svijetu, o neuhranjenima, neravnomjernoj distribuciji hrane. Dani kruha su svakako i prilika da zahvalimo i osvijestimo koliko smo sretni \u0161to mo\u017eemo jesti zdravo i kvalitetno svaki dan, dok istovremeno osvje\u0161\u0107ujemo \u010dinjenicu da milijunima ljudi \u0161irom svijeta nedostaje osnovnih stvari za \u017eivot, poput kruha. Procjenjuje se kako se oko 40 posto proizvedene hrane baca. Oko 20 posto se gubi u tvornicama, nabavnim lancima, trgovinama, a drugih dvadesetak posto se baci u doma\u0107instvima i restoranima kao krajnjim potro\u0161a\u010dima. Najvi\u0161e hrane se baca u razvijenim i dostupnim dr\u017eavama, te se najvi\u0161e baca vo\u0107e i povr\u0107a, a zatim ostala neprocesuirana hrana.  Svaki \u010dovjek kao pojedinac bi trebao razmisliti o ovom problemu, te djelovati u vlastitom okru\u017eenju koliko mo\u017ee da smanji bacanje hrane, te promovirati odr\u017eivi odnos prema namirnicama. Svake godine povodom Svjetskog dana hrane dodjeljuje se odre\u0111ena tema koja nagla\u0161ava probleme s kojima se suo\u010dava odre\u0111ena svjetska populacija. Naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e se nagla\u0161ava kako svojim izborima danas, utje\u010demo na to koliko \u0107e hrana biti dostupna generacijama iza nas.
