Za sada se stru\u010dna javnost sla\u017ee kako je navika tri obroka i dva me\u0111uobroka standard modernog \u010dovjeka. Jo\u0161 uvijek ne postoje nikakvi slu\u017ebeni dokazi da bi bilo koja druga prehrana bila bolja od standardne zdrave prehrane koja se danas preporu\u010duje. Smatra se kako su tri obroka dnevno uz zdrave me\u0111uobroke najbolja opcija za uspostavu uravnote\u017eene te\u017eine, zdravog metabolizma i kontrole apetita. Ravnomjeran unos hrane kroz tri zdrava obroka omogu\u0107ava da se unos kalorija ravnomjerno rasporedi tijekom dana, te da tijekom cijelog dana va\u0161e tijelo bude u ravnote\u017ei, bez osje\u0107aja prejedanja ili gladi. Dijete koje predla\u017eu manje od tri obroka dnevno vjerojatno \u0107e dovesti do ciklusa gladi i prejedanja, koji \u0107e se naizmjeni\u010dno ponavljati. S druge strane osim preporu\u010denog broja obroka treba dovesti u ravnote\u017eu i kvalitetu hrane koju unosimo.  Uvijek birajte zdravije opcije svake hrane. Uz to, \u0161to raznolikija prehrana je uvijek bolja. Treba nau\u010diti mozak i tijelo da shvate da je uvijek bolje odabrati kvalitetno nego ve\u0107e ili vi\u0161e. Bez obzira, radilo se o doru\u010dku, ru\u010dku, ve\u010deri ili me\u0111uobrocima, uvijek birajte ono \u0161to je kvalitetnije, a ne ono \u0161to je ve\u0107e. Tri obroka dnevno su postavljena norma, te mnogi o\u010dekuju kako \u0107e smr\u0161aviti kada zapo\u010dnu tako jesti. Me\u0111utim da bi uz zdravu prehranu i smr\u0161avili jako je bitno kontrolirati unos kalorija, te jesti tri obroka i dva me\u0111uobroka koja sadr\u017ee manje kalorija nego nam je potrebno. Jedino na taj na\u010din \u0107ete i smr\u0161avjeti. Najbolje je da podijelite dnevni limit kalorija na 4 jednaka dijela. Po tri \u010detvrtine \u0107e biti doru\u010dak ru\u010dak i ve\u010dera, a ostatak budu me\u0111uobroci.
